Since 2003, I have worked part-time as a staff subtitler for a subtitling company based in Valencia, Spain. My areas of activity include: time-cueing and translating scripts from Spanish<>English using dedicated subtitling software (Annotation Edit); QC tasks for subtitled feature films and shorts; translating films, documentaries and animation work without scripts; originating subtitles from on-screen dialogues.
My freelance subtitling activities with EZTitles software - Spanish/German>English - have included a wide range of feature films, TV series, documentaries, as well as animated works for major studios and streaming platforms. My current European clients include Eurotape (Germany); Laser Film (Spain); No Limits Media (Germany); Charada (Spain); VSI Germany; Vertalingen (Netherlands); Subs Original mit Untertiteln (Germany).
RATES:
35MM/TV/DVD 6.5-9 euros/minute runtime depending on whether scripts or spotted templates are provided, the language combination, and subject matter.
+25% for urgent jobs (turnaround within 48 hours). I also provide English Template Origination services. Several short showreels are available on request. |
