I am a copywriter/translator/adapter specializing in Spanish language media and advertising. In this capacity, I have written original copy and adapted materials in Spanish for The Walt Disney Company, Pacific Bell, Charles Schwab, Wells Fargo and many others.
On a personal level, I have a broad international outlook. I grew up in Latin America, where I completed my primary and secondary education. After graduating with a degree in Film and Communications from the University of Miami, I worked in Mexico City as a writer and researcher for Televisa, S.A., at the time the world's largest Spanish-language production company. During the same period I also worked for several Mexican production companies, and as a film researcher and assistant editor for the Mexican Government.
From 1985 through 1996 I worked in California as a writer and marketing consultant in campaigns for various companies in the entertainment and advertising industries. In recent years I have worked for Disney Character Voices International, where I supervised the translation, voice casting, recording and mixing into Spanish, Portuguese and French Canadian of motion picture and television product for The Walt Disney Company and its subsidiaries.
I currently live in Mexico City, where I continue to work on a freelance basis for several local and international companies such as McCann-Erickson, Young & Rubicam, The Luna Bacardi Group, and as a Creative Consultant in special projects for the Walt Disney Company, such as the Spanish adaptation of the Beauty & The Beast
