Source text - English Ocrelizumab is a humanized anti-CD20 B cell monoclonal antibody currently in phase 3 clinical trials for RRMS and primary progressive MS (PPMS). In a phase 2 randomized, placebo- and active-controlled trial in RRMS, ocrelizumab decreased the number of gadolinium-enhancing lesions by 89% with the 600-mg dose and by 96% with the 2000-mg dose.[4] To assess the effects of ocrelizumab on B cells, ocrelizumab was administered at doses of 0, 10, 50, and 100 mg/kg to cynomolgus monkeys.[5] After 2 infusions given 2 weeks apart, peripheral blood B cells (CD3-CD40+) were suppressed to undetectable levels. Recovery with the 10-mg/kg dose began at week 6 and with the 50-mg/kg and 100-mg/kg doses at week 14.
Woche.

Source text - English Hanna: German television polls show that many people voted for the AfD as sort of a protest. In fact, 60 percent said they voted “against all other parties” -- only 34 percent said they voted for the AfD out of conviction. This is very different from other parties…
Phillip: Does it matter? The far right is part of the Bundestag now. And they certainly won’t be quiet! Let’s hope that Merkel’s coalition, and the Social Democrats, manage to sideline them...
I am a scientist by training (Ph.D. in Cell Biology) who after several years in biomedical research decided to trade her lab coat for a laptop, an ergonomic keyboard and a stack of dictionaries.
I have been working as a freelance translator since 2007 and specialize in medical translations, in particular IFUs for medical devices, in vitro diagnostics and pharmaceuticals; clinical study protocols and reports, patient information and continuing medical education for physicians. I also have extensive experience with quality management documentation, corporate communications, public relations and marketing materials.
In addition, I have been the German translator and reviewer of content and grammar for News in Slow German, a German language learning program since its beginnings in 2016.
I particularly enjoy translating marketing and advertising texts that challenge my creativity.
I am an ATA-certified translator (English into German).
