I provide
top quality translation and proofreading services from English or French to
Spanish or Catalan at reasonable rates. I have a degree in Translation and a MA
in Scientific and Technical Translation and have beem working as a full-time translator since 1996 form a wide variety of clients. My main area of expertise is scientific translation, specifically biopharmaceutical and chemical documents, but I also work in more creative texts such as novels and non-fiction books.

I only
translate into my native languages, Spanish and Catalan, so that my
translations will be not only grammatically accurate and completely fluent, but
easy to understand and adequate for its intended audience. I always aim to the
fastest turnaround time and do an extensive quality check before delivering the
job, including spellcheck, use of QA tools such as Xbench, and careful re-reading.

I'm based in
Spain and usually work from 7am to 3pm GMT time, but I can be easily reached by
email until 9pm GMT and try to accommodate for my clients. My daily production
ranges from 2,500 to 5,000 words per day, depending on the type of text.

I work with
SDL Trados and Wordfast on a regular basis, but have experience with memoq with
a CAL license and I am always open to try new CAT programs and platforms.
