Onder het motto 'the sky is the limit' tuimelen en zweven ze onder, boven en op elkaar. Vliegend door de lucht tast het onafscheidelijke trio, naast de grenzen van de zwaartekracht, ook de grenzen van hun relatie af. Samen een gat in de lucht, samen tegen één, één tegen allen, wie is beter? best? sterkst? Dit trio kan dan ook niet met en niet zonder elkaar leven. Het ene moment proberen ze met halsbrekende toeren elkaar de loef af te steken. Het andere moment springen ze harmonieus een gat in de lucht.

Una combinación, jamás antes visto, entre el más atrevido malabarismo, y acrobacias sorprendentes sobre un maxi-trampolín. Un espectáculo que deja a los asistentes boquiabiertos y sin aliento. Bajo el lema “the sky is the limit' (“El firmamento es nuestro límite”) artistas y atletas parecen desafiar las leyes de la gravedad, dando tumbos y cabriolas por el aire, y momentos después volando como si fuesen pájaros. ¡Parecen no poder vivir ni juntos, ni el uno sin el otro! A ratos, en efecto, se antagonizan entre sí con provocativos saltos, como quien dice: “no miren al otro, mírenme a mí, ¿quién es aquí el mejor y más fuerte?”… para momentos después asombrar una vez más, actuando en la mas plena armonía, como si fuese un clásico ballet.

Source text - English The fascinating world of the mass media offers unique opportunities to proclaim to the whole human family the salvific truth of Christ, to promote healthy human and family values, to pattern the ideas and to influence the conduct of individuals. There must, therefore, be lay persons in the Church willing to strive so that the power of the mass media is no longer a force that destroys, but a creative one that reflects the love of God “who is Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all” (Eph 4:6). The presence in the media of people more exclusively devoted to the Lord is also very granted, since all the efforts in this important new apostolic field have to be encouraged in order to reach a better coordination of the initiatives in this sector, and higher levels of quality and efficiency.

In my vision translating is a process that must be attended closely and imaginatively. A skilled translator must focus on the real meaning of the word and phrases in its original language. Even simple words and phrases can become confusing when moving from one language to another. But translating is also an art, a feeling, a music, a divine spark: “The artistry lies in metamorphosing the original into a form and linguistic style that seems natural to it in the new tongue” (Alastair Reid). In a truly good translation you should not be able to “smell” the language of origin.
