I graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the Georgia State University, under the direction of Dr. L. Strekowski in May 1999. This education enhanced a strong background in written English skills in the areas of dissertation, science journals, medical journals, patents, and book chapters.
In addition, I worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Georgia State University for two years. In the time I worked at GSU, I co-authored a number of publications in a peer review journals as well as books. I also helped launching KPS Technolgies, a small business .
During my college years, I studied English abroad at Euro Language Centre located in London in England in 1990. In addition, I successfully completed English courses at ELS Language Center in Atlanta in U.S.A. after my graduation. I continued my graduate studies in U.S. and achieved Ph. D. in Chemistry in 1999.
I have been bilingual for fifteen years. I have been an author and co-authors of dissertation, a peer review science journals, and books. I also have translated English version Chinese medical books into Korean. I have experience in proofing dissertations, science and medical journals, and patents. I also have teaching experience of English at YWCA and other language institutes. |
