After graduating in Translation and Interpreting in Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain, in 2006 I moved to Ireland and completed a Master of Arts in Translation Studies in Dublin City University, Dublin, Ireland. I was also appointed sworn translator and interpreter by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2007. I am a qualifed teacher of Spanish as a foreign language by Instituto Cervantes in Dublin, Ireland.
I have been working as a freelance translator and interpreter (English, Spanish, French) in Ireland and other European countries ever since I finished my MA among other activities. I also work as a volunteer translator and interpreter for different NGOs and other non-profit organisations.
I am a member of the Irish Translators' and Interpreters' Association.
I am a member of The Institute of Localisation Professionals since 2010 and achieved CLP Level 1 certification in 2010.
