Bio
I am a linguist, certified translator/interpreter of English/Russian and a teacher/tutor of English to non-native speakers. I got my BA/Specialist degree at the International Academy of Business and Banking, Togliatti, Russia. My minor was Public Relations and Communications, as well as Corporate Culture. My MA in International Studies is from the University of Leeds, UK. I also studied business negotiations, public relations and communications at the Miami University, OH, USA.
Along with my freelance interpretation career, I held middle management positions at the first Community Foundation in Russia as a cross-cultural communications manager, and at the Automobile Banking Centre as a business development specialist. I got profound exposure to the non-profit and business worlds and gained practical experience in the fields that I had studied at school.
Although I have been exposed to a variety of interpretation/translation assignments, I particularly enjoy working on humanitarian and general business subjects.
I am a Chevening Award Scholar, participant of the YLF for Public Service Program, Ambassador of the TCFN, etc.
