fear big ideas or are afraid to defend them or don’t
know how to explain or sell them.
Some people are afraid to buy big ideas because,
by their nature, they have never been done before and
that can be scary. (It’s been said that if you’re not scared
of an idea, it’s probably not a big idea at all.)
You’ll have to save your idea from all the people who
want to change the idea, “help” the idea, compromise
the idea. They want to “make it better” or safer or less
expensive or more comfortable.
All great ideas have to beware of

Source text - Spanish CESIÓN DE DERECHOS DE GRABACIÓN
Las partes formalizan el presente documento de cesión de derechos de grabación, y acuerdan lo siguiente:
I.- Que con fecha …. de … de 2012, las partes suscribieron un contrato de prestación de servicios artísticos (en adelante el CONTRATO), para la actuación del ARTISTA en el FESTIVAL, el día ……..[fecha].
II.- La suscripción del presente documento por parte del REPRESENTANTE, y el abono a su favor de la contraprestación económica establecida en el CONTRATO, incluye la autorización por parte del REPRESENTANTE en nombre del ARTISTA, a la EMPRESA, sin contraprestación económica adicional a la establecida en la cláusula segunda del CONTRATO, para que ésta, por si misma o a través de terceros, pueda fijar, grabar, distribuir, y emitir la actuación del ARTISTA en el FESTIVAL, en los formatos, sistemas, y medios de comunicación indicados a continuación.
La anterior autorización se concede en nombre del ARTISTA, sin perjuicio de los derechos fonográficos y/o derechos editoriales que pertenezcan a la compañía discográfica del ARTISTA, y a la compañía editorial de los temas musicales interpretados por el ARTISTA, derechos que deberán ser gestionados y formalizados directamente por la EMPRESA, si bien contará con el apoyo y en su caso intermediación del REPRESENTANTE si fuera necesario.
La EMPRESA, tendrá la facultad de grabar, emitir, comunicar públicamente, distribuir, y poner a disposición del público la actuación del ARTISTA, en las siguientes plataformas digitales y analógicas, de acuerdo con las limitaciones incluidas a continuación:
- En la modalidad live streaming en el canal digital “YouTube”, bien como parte integrante de un resumen del FESTIVAL, o bien la actuación íntegra del ARTISTA o parte de la misma, de forma independiente, pero siempre dentro del contexto del FESTIVAL “………………”.
La actuación del ARTISTA referenciada en el párrafo anterior, podrá estar a disposición del público a través del canal Premium del FESTIVAL en YouTube (tanto en su versión web, como en su versión móvil), desde la fecha de la actuación del ARTISTA en el FESTIVAL, y hasta tres (3.-) meses desde la finalización del mismo, sin perjuicio de los resúmenes del FESTIVAL incluyendo la actuación del ARTISTA que podrán estar a disposición del público en dicho canal de forma indefinida.
- Emisión y comunicación pública en directo, y/o en diferido, en Radio y Televisión, con ámbito mundial, a los efectos de promocionar y comercializar el FESTIVAL. La EMPRESA deberá informar al REPRESENTANTE de manera previa a su emisión, de los canales de televisión y emisoras de radio en los que se vaya a emitir la actuación del ARTISTA, entendiendo que siempre se deberá emitir dentro del contexto del FESTIVAL, y nunca de forma separada e independiente al resto de emisiones y contenidos grabados en el evento.
- La EMPRESA, tendrá derecho por si misma, o a través de terceros, a grabar, reproducir y fijar la actuación del ARTISTA en el FESTIVAL, para su distribución en soportes físicos (CD y/o DVD), en cualquier territorio del Mundo, siempre y cuando la actuación del ARTISTA no se comercialice de forma separada e independiente a la del resto de Artistas o contenidos del FESTIVAL, y siempre y cuando su actuación se incluya como parte integrante del CD y/o DVD resumen del FESTIVAL “……………………..”.
- El REPRESENTANTE autoriza a la EMPRESA, y consiente expresamente la fijación y puesta a disposición de la actuación del ARTISTA, de forma completa y/o fragmentada, a través de Internet y/o telefonía móvil, y en particular en la página web del Festival y demás páginas webs vinculadas con el mismo, quedando entendido que la puesta a disposición en formatos digitales de la actuación del ARTISTA o fragmentos de la misma, solo podrá emitirse en la modalidad de streaming, tanto en directo (simulcasting) como en diferido, pero sin posibilidad de descarga, y siempre dentro del contexto del FESTIVAL.
A los efectos establecidos en el presente documento, el REPRESENTANTE en nombre del ARTISTA, cede a la EMPRESA, con facultad de cesión a terceros, los derechos sobre la imagen del ARTISTA, y los derechos de reproducción, distribución, transformación, comunicación pública y puesta a disposición sobre la actuación del ARTISTA en el FESTIVAL, a los efectos de grabar, fijar, distribuir y emitir la actuación del ARTISTA, en los medios, formatos, y sistemas de comunicación indicados en la presente cláusula, para todo el mundo, y por todo el plazo de protección legal a favor de los productores musicales y/o audiovisuales, y todo ello, sin perjuicio de los derechos fonográficos y derechos editoriales pertenecientes a terceros, que deberán ser gestionados y formalizados directamente por la EMPRESA.
El REPRESENTANTE reconoce expresamente que cualquier derecho de propiedad industrial e intelectual existente sobre las marcas, contenidos, y los logotipos del FESTIVAL “…………………”, cualquiera que sea su naturaleza, son de exclusiva titularidad de la EMPRESA.
Queda expresamente prohibida cualquier otra grabación, filmación, o retransmisión de la actuación del ARTISTA, salvo aquellas expresamente autorizadas en el presente documento, o las autorizadas por el manager y/o por la compañía discográfica de ARTISTA directamente a la EMPRESA.
Y para que así conste, y a los efectos oportunos, firman las partes el presente documento de cesión de derechos de grabación, por duplicado ejemplar, en el lugar y fecha al principio consignados.
Translation - English ASSIGNMENT OF RECORDING RIGHTS
The parties hereby execute this Agreement for the Assignment of Recording Rights, and agree as follows:
I.- On .........…, 2012, the parties entered into an agreement for the provision of entertainment services (hereinafter, the AGREEMENT), regarding the ARTIST'S performance at the FESTIVAL on ……..[date].
II.- The execution of this agreement by the AGENT, and the payment of the compensation set forth in the AGREEMENT include the authorization to the COMPANY by the AGENT on behalf of the ARTIST, to fixate, record, distribute and broadcast the ARTIST's performance at the FESTIVAL, using the formats, systems and media described below, whether directly or through third parties, without any compensation other than the one established by Section Two of the AGREEMENT.
The above authorization is granted on behalf of the ARTIST, without prejudice of any phonographic and/or publishing rights owned by the ARTIST's record company, and by the publisher of the music tracks performed by the ARTIST. These rights shall be managed and formalized directly by the COMPANY, with the support and facilitation of the AGENT, if necessary.
THE COMPANY shall have the right to record, broadcast, communicate to the public, distribute, and grant public access to the ARTIST's performance on the following digital and analog platforms, with the restrictions set forth herein below:
- Via live streaming on “YouTube” digital channel, either as part of the FESTIVAL video highlights or separately, whether access to the ARTIST's performance is given in whole or in part, provided such performance is within the context of the “…………….” FESTIVAL.
The ARTIST's performance referred to herein may be made available to the public through the FESTIVAL's premium channel on YouTube (both over the Internet and mobile devices), as from the date of the ARTIST's performance at the FESTIVAL, and for no more than three (3) months after the end of the FESTIVAL, without prejudice to the FESTIVAL's video highlights, which may include the ARTIST's performance and may be made available to the public over such channel indefinitely.
- Worldwide broadcasting and communication to the public, whether live or deferred, on Radio and TV, with the purpose of promoting and marketing the FESTIVAL. Prior to broadcasting it, the COMPANY shall inform the AGENT the TV channels and radio stations where the ARTIST's performance will be aired, it being understood that such performance may only be broadcasted within the context of the FESTIVAL, and never separately or independently from the broadcasts and contents recorded at the event.
- The COMPANY shall have the right, whether acting directly or through third parties, to record and reproduce the ARTIST’s performance at the FESTIVAL, and to further distribute such contents on physical media (CD and/or DVD), anywhere in the world, provided that the ARTIST's performance is not marketed separately and independently from the rest of the FESTIVAL's artists or contents, and as long as the performance is included as integral part of the CD and/or DVD highlights of the “………………” FESTIVAL.
- The AGENT hereby authorizes the COMPANY, and provides express consent for the ARTIST's performance to be recorded and made available to the public, whether in whole or in part, over the Internet and/or mobile devices, in particular on the Festival website and any other linked websites, it being understood that making the ARTIST's performance or any part thereof available on digital media, may only be broadcasted via streaming, whether live (simulcasting) or deferred, but without download access, and provided it is within the context of the FESTIVAL.
For the purposes of this Agreement, the AGENT, acting on behalf of the ARTIST, assigns to the COMPANY, who shall in turn have assigning rights to third parties, the ARTIST's image copyright and the rights of reproduction, distribution, transformation, public communication, and the right of making the ARTIST's performance at the FESTIVAL available to the public, for the purposes of recording, fixating, distributing and broadcasting the ARTIST's performance on the media, formats and systems as defined under this section, anywhere in the world and any time during the legal protection period granted to musical and/or audiovisual producers, and without any prejudice to phonographic rights and publishing rights owned by third parties, which shall be managed and formalized directly by the COMPANY.
The AGENT expressly acknowledges that any existing industrial or intellectual rights over trademarks, contents, and logotypes of the "……………….." FESTIVAL, of any kind whatsoever, are the exclusive property of the COMPANY.
Any other recording, shooting or rebroadcast of the ARTIST's performance is expressly prohibited, except for those expressly authorized herein or those directly authorized to the COMPANY by the ARTIST's manager and/or record company.
In witness thereof, and for all useful purposes, the parties hereby sign this Agreement for the Assignment of Recording Rights, in two counterparts, in the place and on the date first above stated.

Source text - English Principal investment strategies
As a balanced fund with global scope, the fund seeks to invest in equity and debt securities around the world that offer the opportunity for growth and/or provide dividend income, while also constructing the portfolio to protect principal and limit volatility. The fund will allocate its assets among various countries, including the United States (but in no fewer than three countries). Under normal market conditions, the fund will invest significantly (at least 40% of its net assets — unless market conditions are not deemed favorable by the fund’s investment adviser, in which case the fund would invest at least 30% of its net assets) in issuers outside the United States.
The fund’s ability to invest in issuers outside the United States includes investing in emerging country issuers.
Normally, the fund will maintain at least 45% of the value of its assets in common stocks and other equity investments. Although the fund’s equity investments focus on medium to larger capitalization companies, the fund’s investments are not limited to a particular capitalization size.
Normally, the fund will invest at least 25% of the value of its assets in bonds and other debt securities (including money market instruments). These will consist of investment- grade securities (rated Baa3 or better or BBB– or better by Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Organizations designated by the fund’s investment adviser or unrated but determined to be of equivalent quality by the fund’s investment adviser).
The fund may invest in bonds and other debt securities, including securities issued and guaranteed by the U.S. government, securities issued by federal agencies and instrumentalities and securities backed by mortgages or other assets. The fund may also invest in securities of governments, agencies, corporations and other entities domiciled outside the United States. These investments will typically be denominated in currencies other than U.S. dollars.
The investment adviser uses a system of multiple portfolio counselors in managing the fund’s assets. Under this approach, the portfolio of the fund is divided into segments managed by individual counselors who decide how their respective segments will be invested.
The fund relies on the professional judgment of its investment adviser to make decisions about the fund’s portfolio investments. The basic investment philosophy of the investment adviser is to seek to invest in attractively valued securities that, in its opinion, represent good, long-term investment opportunities. Securities may be sold when the investment adviser believes that they no longer represent relatively attractive investment opportunities.
