Bio
I am a certified Spanish teacher currently staying home with my young son. I lived and studied in Ecuador for 6 months, and have friends from Mexico with whom I speak Spanish. I have a BA in History, and a Masters in Education. I translate my son's English books into Spanish, and thus have become very familiar with translating children's literature. I would be happy to translate children's literature (Spanish to English or English to Spanish) or historical texts (Spanish to English only), and will consider translating other types of documents as well.
Soy maestra certificada del castellano, hoy en día en casa con mi niño. Viví y estudié en la Universidad de San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador) por seis meses, y tengo amigos de México con quienes hablo el castellano. Tengo un BA en historia, y una maestría de educación. Mi hijo tiene unos libros en inglés, y los traduzco al castellano. Así estoy familiarizada con la literatura de niños y la manera de traducirla. Me alegraría traducir libros de niños (del castellano a inglés o al revés), o documentos de historia (del castellano a inglés), y posiblemente otros tipos de documentos también.
