It’s important to achieve the same impact in a language that everyone understands. Because I’m an attentive listener, close reader and native English translator, my writing reflects your quality. I ensure new readers pay attention through crisp prose that avoids literal translations. This means nothing sounds odd to your audience or is difficult to understand. I specialise in translating and editing texts that need to sound good.
My career as professional translator now spans nearly 10 years. I have worked for advertising agencies, artists, academics, publishers, filmmakers, museums, major fashion brands, local boutiques, tech start-ups, international hotel groups and some of Europe’s largest rail and travel operators.
I am a member of Spanish and Catalan professional translation associations APTIC and ASETRAD and a certified Proz.com translator in all my language combinations. I am also a member of the UK based Emerging Translators Network for literary translators.
I endorse the ASETRAD Code of Ethics and strive to be a sustainable business. I work pro bono for Translators without Borders.
