Residente in Italia da vent'anni, da quattordici lavoro come traduttrice freelance a tempo pieno nelle combinazioni linguistiche italiano – inglese e francese – inglese. La mia attività si rivolge principalmente ai settori della medicina, veterinaria, odontoiatria e farmaceutica.
Oltre alla traduzione di articoli per riviste medico-scientifiche ed opere editoriali nello stesso settore di specializzazione, ho esperienza pluriennale nella traduzione di referti ospedalieri e lettere di dimissione, documentazione riguardante il settore delle sperimentazioni cliniche (moduli di consenso informato, informative per il paziente Convenzioni tra Promotore/CRO e centro sperimentale, verbali di comitati etici e modelli OsSC) e quello della farmaceutica (foglietti illustrativi, riassunti delle caratteristiche del prodotto, ed etichette) usando le edizioni correnti degli standard terms e modelli QRD.

I have been living in Italy for twenty years and for the past fourteen I have worked full-time as a freelance translator, in the language pairs Italian - English and French - English. I work almost exclusively in the medical, veterinary, dental and pharmaceutical fields.
In addition to translating articles for medical and scientific journals and books in the same fields, I have several years' experience translating hospital reports and discharge summaries, clinical trial documents (informed consent forms, patient information sheets, agreements between Sponsor/CRO and trial centre and ethics committee minutes) and pharmaceutical documents (package leaflets, Summaries of Product Characteristics, packaging and labelling) using the current editions of the EDQM standard terms and QRD templates.
