2005 – 2007 ITW TOMCO / Quality Engineer & Coordinator (Plastics injection molding for the automotive industry).
• Translated and implemented the corporate office TS-16949 system in the Aguascalientes facility.
• Defined and customized new processes in the plant
• Trained and guided the new personnel through the different manufacturing and system processes.
• Implemented and maintained the product changes according to PPAP requirements.
• During ramp up and SOP was responsible for invoicing, inventories and customer service, while establishing the directions for on-time delivery.
1999 – 2005 UNIPRES MEXICANA / QA Supervisor (Metal Stamping and assemblies for the automotive industry, with +75 million dollar sales)
• Appointed ISO/TS-16949:2002 project leader pursuing certification and Management rep for the system.
• Responsible for customer claims and concerns, thus reducing incidence in 75%
• Defined manufacturing processes according to TS
• Achieved facility certification, including our sales office located in the US
• Evaluated and assessed our supplier base towards their ISO-9000 certification.
• Implemented and directed the Engineering changes process according to PPAP, including a new FMEA software.
• Developed the evaluation system for the plant’s objectives and goals.
• Implemented the quality system for our internal lab, base don ISO-17025.
1997 – 1999 HERCO, S.A. / Quality Systems chief – Planning (Metal mechanic manufacturing plant, distributing to the Mexican Republic and Central America)
• Implemented the Environmental Management System according to ISO-14000.
• Restructured the existing Quality Management System to adapt it to the new EMS.
• Translated the complete product catalogue onto English.
