My name is Gabriela Heinz, I'm an Argentinian/Italian living in Brighton. I have been teaching Spanish for over six years, and translating for almost four.
I am a very enthusiastic, energetic person. I thrive when challenged and I’m always on the lookout for new ways of improving my performance. I’m fascinated by anything related to communication. I enjoy coordinating activities and events, and work well either as part of a group or individually. I work well under pressure. I am committed, responsible, sensible and sensitive, and I have very good people skills. My English is at Native Speaker level.
Before becoming a linguist, I studied Graphic Design and worked both as a Graphic Designer and Webmaster.
After that, I studied Drama, and I taught Drama to Adults and children alike.
As you can see, all my occupations are very closely related to different sorts of communication!
I've lived in Argentina, Barcelona, Melbourne Hong Kong and London before settling in Brighton. In recent years, in Hong Kong, I worked for
"Faust" as a Drama Teacher, Spanish Teacher, Translator and Graphic Designer. Then I moved to London and started work as a full-time Spanish Teacher, and a freelance Translator.
Since living in Brighton, I still work twice a week in London, but also run my own Spanish School and work as a freelance Translator.
