I was born in Egypt, and atarted travelling with my family from the age of 2 years. I lived in 10 different countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. My late father's career in the Foreign Service took my mum, my older sister and myself all over the world! I simultaneously learnt to speak Arabic, English and Serbo-Croat (then). I learnt French as a teenager while attending a French High school from the age of 13 to 17 years. I lived in French and English speaking countries.

I now live in South Africa, where I moved 15 years ago with my husband and 2 daughters.
