Source text - Spanish El precio de las mercancías se establece en las notas de partida presupuestaria de este contrato. No se realizarán ajustes si aumentan los costes del Vendedor, incluidos, pero no limitados a los costes de la mano de obra, de los materiales o los costes generales.
El Vendedor se asegurará que todas las mercancías siguen siendo competitivas en precio, tecnología, diseño y calidad con el resto de mercancías disponibles para el Comprador. Translation - English The price of merchandise is established in the budget item notes of this contract. This will not be adjusted if Vendor costs increase, including, but not limited to, labor, materials or general costs.
Vendor shall ensure that all merchandise continues to be competitive in price, technology, design and quality with other merchandise available to Buyer. If, in the reasonable opinion of Buyer, the merchandise is no longer competitive, Buyer, if able, shall explain to Vendor in writing the way in which another product is more competitive in price, technology, design or quality. If, in 30 days, Vendor does not immediately agree to sell the merchandise at a competitive price, or, when appropriate, with comparable technology, design or quality, Buyer may cancel this Contract and buy from another Vendor without this entailing any responsibility for Vendor. In accordance with this, during the length of the contract, Buyer shall not excercise its rights in accordance with paragraph 13 (“Termination for Convenience”), except for cancellations due to program cancellation or modification.

1. Continúa atribuyendo la pobreza a causas falsas y escoge ignorar a las dos causas fundamentales del retraso económico.
2. Perpetúa y protege a las estructuras fracasadas del pre-modernismo: mercantilismo e intervencionismo, y no las substituye con un sistema de libre mercado competitivo, caracterizado por la producción masiva de bajo costo y la sana participación en mercados internacionales, con aquel sistema que permite que las personas libres, no doblegadas por controles opresivos, creen a través de su trabajo ese milagro económico que tanto añoramos.
3. Rechaza las actitudes clásicas del trabajo arduo, el ahorro, la cooperación, y la iniciativa propia, y en su lugar hace responsables por el progreso al gobierno, a los sindicatos y a organismos internacionales y sus dádivas.

The Third World will never have the opportunity to progress and participate in the ability to create wealth, an ability which the First World enjoys, if:
1. It continues attributing poverty to false causes and chooses to ignore the two fundamental causes of economic stagnation.
2. It perpetuates and protects the failed structures of pre-modernism: mercantilism and interventionalism, and fails to substitute them with a competitive free-market system. Characterized by massive, low-cost production and sane participation in international markets, this system would allow free people, unfettered by oppressive controls, to create through their work the economic miracle that we all long for.
3. It rejects the classic attitudes of hard work, saving, cooperation and self-motivation, and holds the government, the unions, international organizations and their charity responsible for progress.
If these indispensable changes are ignored, the Third World will continue to be riddled with wasted human resources and capital, which make progress and abundance impossible.

As a lover of languages and cultures, as well as a naturally curious person, I find translation to be a perfect fit.
I studied and worked in Chile and Spain for over three years. My exposure to and interaction with the language in its natural context has been my most valuable translation tool.
I hold a B.A. in Spanish from Wayne State University and a Graduate Certificate in Translation from Marygrove College. Internationally, I completed two semesters of undergraduate coursework at the University of Chile, Santiago as well as doctoral classes at the University of Salamanca, Spain.
