About me
I am a freelance translator and a language trainer (French and Arabic as a foreign language). My mother tongues are Arabic and French. I also teach English at the universities of Art and Economics of Montpellier in France.
I have been preparing a PhD on Translation Studies related to the translation of Metaphors from English into French (case study: D. H. Lawrence's The Rainbow).
I very much enjoy thinking of translation in its complex theoretical levels and as a cultural activity that entails cognitive processes. Translating as an activity and exploring its meandering paths are the core of my interests.
