I'm a professional Spanish-English-Spanish translator with over 10 years of experience in the field as a freelancer.
I have worked for important transnational companies as an English teacher and translator, managing big translation projects on: Education, IT, Legal, Medical, Advertising, Commercial, and recently I have specialized in the audiovisual translation (subtitling, closed-captioning, and dubbing). I am currently providing this service for Televisa, the leading media company in Mexico and Latin America, and have been Televisa International's main provider of translation services for the past 7 years, contributing to the area's improvement and growth, and enhancing the quality of their final product for the international selling.
Along my years of experience as a freelancer, I have also participated in important projects for the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum), the University of Wellington, INAH (Anthropology and History National Institute in Mexico), Mamillan Publishers, Gemalto México, Marchon México, and medical translations for some translation agencies, among many others.
Additionally, I am also specialized in spiritual and Buddhist contents in general as a I am a Buddhist practicioner since 2010, and in the area of Mindfulness as well. Recently, I translated a book about Buddhist Ethics into Spanish ("Not About Being Good", Published by Windhorse), for Mexico City's Buddhist Centre, which has just been released.
