The praises of this hero echoed during the times he led his community to defeat and oppress their enemies for a long time. Before his arrival, the Sidho were killed in large numbers and their property stolen. When he took over the leadership of his clan, they achieved a massive victory in all the wars they participated in against the Jo lang'o (Kalenjin). They even went to the homes of those enemies and confiscated their property, a thing that brought great joy to the people of Sidho because they had suffered for a long time.
However, what surprised his people and enemies alike was how he killed many enemies without anyone getting hurt. Arrows, spears, and other traditional weapons of war did not pierce him; instead, his weapons entered the enemies and killed them in large numbers. This statement made the enemies and his people fear him even more. The clan of Sidho saw this matter as a great blessing and a whip against Nandi.
