|Description||Sheikhbahaee University was established by virtue of the 1994 Law of Non–Governmental and Non-Profitable Universities and Institutions by the effort of 10 professors from the University of Isfahan. Like many other universities and institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, it admits students through the National Entrance Examination held by the Iranian Educational Testing Organization. The students are therefore to comply with the rules and regulations set by the mentioned council and ministry in all aspects of their education including matters related to students affairs, disciplines, tuition, fees, etc. Upon the establishment, Sheikhbahaee University had 4 major areas and 175 students. Currently, the university has about 3500 students, 14 undergraduate programs, 9 postgraduate courses, and one Ph.D. program. Due to its location which is in the vicinity of Isfahan University and Isfahan University of Technology, two accredited universities of Iran, Sheikhbahaee University has been able to benefit from the academic staff of those universities in their free hours. This university is governed according to educational regulations of the High Council of Cultural Revolution and the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, the latter endorses its credential degrees.|
