stone dust Explanation: Am dat un termen generic, iar ortografia corecta este "criblura" - vine din franceza. Are multe denumiri, in functie de contextul in care apare. Mai apare si screening (in industria miniera), chipping, broken stone, finely crushed rock, small-sized scrap etc. |

gravel Explanation: In Britain, gravel always refers to smooth, rounded, river-worn material, never to angular stones or crushed rock. British gravel ranges in size from 4 mm to about 30 mm, the smaller sizes up to 8 mm are usually called 'pea gravel'. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2005-10-07 11:07:17 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- http://www.whitegranite.com/Stone_Prices_/gravel/gravel.html Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravel |
