Im Internet habe ich unter UVA zone nur folgende sportliche Bezüge gefunden:
"Conversely, UNC had trouble getting their offense in gear in the first half. With numerous turnovers against the UVA zone, UNC found themselves playing defense more than they like to."

Und ähnliche mehr, die stark nach Sportkommentar klingen. Bin nun völlig ratlos.

Thanks. I couldn't find it in German, either, so guess Claudia will have to keep the "Uvazone" brand name and explain what it is.

Ich denke, es ergibt Sinn, zumindest im Kontext. Wie es in der Praxis aussieht, kann ich mir nicht vorstellen. :-)

Ich denke eher, dass sich das Pool in einem UVA-Strahlen-Bereich (unter einem Glas/Fenster) befindet... Zumindest hört sich bei deinem Text so an! :-)

agree jccantrell : Yes, as opposed to UVB. The internet probably refers to University of Viginia (UVa) and basketball zone defense, with UNC being University of North Carolina.
