English term

park it in it's own housing

English to German Marketing Advertising / Public Relations whirlpool / spa / hot tub
Aus einer Broschüre über Whirlpools und Hot Tubs:

"Advanced B.O.S.S. command
Massage, filtration, lights, temperature—thanks to our new B.O.S.S. command, you can program your tub from anywhere in your house. Or park it in its own housing. Modes include Energy Saving, Economy, Filtration Settings and Safety Lockout."

Ich habe nur dieses Textfragment aus einer Aufzählung von technischen Besonderheiten.

Das sind Luxuswhirlpools mit schwimmenden Fernbedienungen und schwimmenden Keyboards, etc.

Park it in it's own housing - in diesem Zusammenhang kann ich damit nichts anfangen. In den vorherigen Abschnitten wurden Verschalung, Verkleidung und Pumpen beschrieben, in den nachfolgenden Abschnitten geht es um Filter und Abdeckung.

Ganz herzlichen Dank für jeden Ratschlag.

an einem extra Platz unterbringen

to park s.th somewhere means in German: ablegen, unterbringen. In England I was often asked where I parked s.th. asking for where I put it.
I just don't know here whether it refers to the tub or the remote control 'command'. If referring to the tub it could as well say:
im eigenen Raum (z.B. auch Gartenhaus) einbauen.
Note from asker:
Yep. Again, this isn't a translation question. You brought up an interesting thought, though: since they are talking about about remote control, maybe they mean the housing of this particular device... their website is still under construction, I don't have any additional information. Thanks, Sabine!

Don't have the German equivalent, but this will explain the meaning of 'park in its own housing' which, in my opinion, is a rather colloquial expression for an international brochure:
Category

For many people the terms "hot tub" and "spa" are interchangeable and there are two basic types: "self-contained" and "non self-contained". A self contained hot tub is free standing and has an exterior (cabinet) with the electrical, heating, and filtration systems housed within the unit which is typically installed above ground on a patio or deck. Non self-contained spas are installed in-ground and are considered permanent. Their filtration and heating systems are located in an area removed from the spa.

So the sentence means that, you can program the tub from the B.O.S.S. command wherever it is installed in your house, or if the tub is freestanding in its own housing.
