airmen/women, flyers Explanation: I also found "aeronauts" at http://odge.info/german-english/Luftfahrer {pl}.html but I don't like this myself. This is a misleading term, as the obvious English would appear to be "air traveller (traveler)" but this would be taken to mean airline passengers, and the German apparently does not mean this. |
