I've tried to give as much as the text as possible because I can't figure out what "le requis" refers to.

Perhaps something like "for the aforementioned reasons" but I'm really not sure.

Your invaluable help would be much appreciated.

POUR....VENIR
Explanation:

You must read the document as POUR, followed by the series of attendus (grounds/whereas clauses) and VENIR. The series of whereas clauses are thus merely inserted betwen POUR and VENIR. You should translate this either by starting with the whereas clauses followed by **wherefor the Respondent is hereby summoned to appear before the judge** or place the whereas clauses after this phrase

the respondent is summoned to

Explanation:
There is an entry in Kudoz terms for "le requis" as the defendant. In divorce proceedings, this would be the respondent, whose is being summoned to take part in the conciliation. This makes sense given that the beginning of the text says it is a "CITATION A COMPARAITRE DEVANT LE JUGE".

The only other reference I have found is by Googling and I came up with another "Citation", this time before the criminal court in Marseille in a defamation case.

"Par ces motifs

Y venir le requis s’entendre condamner aux peines prévues par la loi en cas de diffamation."

which seems to me to be "that the accused/defendant shall be present to be condemned/sentenced ..."

Hope this helps...

The respondent is ordered to attend the reconciliation session on...

Explanation:
Hello,

I'd like to give my translation of this sentence.

requis = respondent (no doubt here)

venir = to come (infinitive at the beginning of sentence in legal document usually indicates a command)

procéder à = to execute/go through with ("to attend", in this case)

tentative de conciliation = reconciliation session (in the context of divorce cases)

I prefer "ordered" to "summoned", only because the French says "ordered", not summoned ("summoned" would not be necessarily wrong).

That all translates into:

The respondent is ordered to attend the reconciliation session on the 29th of August 2006 at 8:30 AM.
