I have a list of attributes mentioned by respondents (in a market research questionnaire) when describing companies. Examples: entreprise d'informatique, entreprise de (télé)communications, banque, etc.
One of these entries is "actionneur". Does this make any sense to you? If not, could it be a typo for something else?
There is no really useful context apart from the above, I'm afraid.

(see investopedia dictionary site in refs. below) I also found a French investor site that uses the term "actionneur" in this sense , but with (their particular?)emphasis on social involvement ("Actionneur=Actionnaire + Acteur")

If it refers to the respondents and not just to types of companies, it might be a typo for *actionnaire*. For example, if the question is "do you work in: banking, telecommunications" etc then this might somehow be construed to be "are you a shareholder of..." Depends how the question is phrased.
