sump shafts ???? Explanation: Hi Marcus, found a few hits for "IDM Schacht"/ " - Schächte" on Google, but nothing that explains what it means or expands the abbreviation. One site (ref 1, German plus English translation) translates it as 'sump shaft(s)', but I'm not convinced, since all the Google hits for 'sump shaft' (except the bogus ones) relate to mines, where a sump shaft is the deepest shaft of a set of shafts, used to collect drainage water.
