English term

EFP lens

English to German Tech/Engineering Electronics / Elect Eng
I am translating a document detailing cameras and their positions along a race course. All I have is a list, so the only context is: it's a kind of lens on a TV camera.

EFP Objektiv

I would say that this one of those things which should not be translated. EFP is a very well known term among all professionals in film and TV around the world.

The meaning is Electronic Field Production, meaning equipment for making electronic recordings outside of studios.
