French term

pré-découpage

French to English Tech/Engineering Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.) silicone subdural grid electrode
Context: a subdural grid electrode, which is a sheet of silicone containing electrodes in a grid pattern. The whole thing is implanted against the surface of an epilepsy patient's brain to record electrical activity over a period of up to a month to locate the foci of abnormal electrical activity.

"La stratégie [company name] était de développer un produit de qualité et compétitif sans rechercher une stratégie de différentiation dans sa définition (excepté le pré-découpage qui confère une « originalité » mais qui reste mineure)."

I believe it is a feature of the silicone matrix
that enables strips of electrodes to be removed from the whole grid.

pre-cutting

I would envisage this as the sheet of silicone rubber being partly cut through by the mfr, so that the electrodes can be separated out as necessary to fit the brain.

I have no idea, though, if there is a more specilaized term in this particualr field.

(pre) die-cut

It seems that this particular electrode, made presumably of conductive silicone rubber, has been cut into very specific shapes, similar to self adhesive labels or transfers. The "pre" bit seems to imply some process, eg printing, before the actual die-cutting itself.
