Referring to furniture - sofas in particular:

"Struttura in legno massello e ferro schiumato" - not sure if there is a specific term for this or if it simply means that the iron is covered with foam.

Hi Rachel, I will try and find out from my client about iron vs steel - just to satisfy our curiosity! But I notice that they use iron a lot in this translation - including wrought iron, but that's another issue

iron: wouldn't it, e.g., rust (when you spill liquid on it, which could quite easily happen)? Still wondering why it says iron in It., that's all...

I think it means it's covered in foam, like lots of furniture (sofas, etc.), but not sure in Eng. - iron isn't usually mentioned in sofa descriptions as far as I know-?
