I have two different companies that are related (parent/subsidiary) that transact with one another and want to track the intercompany transactions. I think I need to create an account called an "intercompany account" on the chart of accounts/trial balance for each company.
Intercompany Account is a General ledger account that is used for recording a transaction between related companies like affiliates or subsidiaries. You are right as you would have to create an Intercompany Account. These are actually reciprocal records between the entities in their general ledgers. You can record the trial balance in heads such as Intercompany receivables and payables, intercompany sales and purchases etc

Als je weleens pieken en dalen in je cashflow hebt kan een rekening courant een ideaal middel zijn om dat op te vangen. Bijna elke bank biedt wel een rekening courant krediet aan voor ondernemers. Het is als ondernemer heel normaal om hiervan gebruik te maken om te voorkomen dat je bedrjif te zer beïnvloed wordt door tijdelijke tegenslag.
Een rekening courant is niet ingewikkeld. Het is anders als een zakelijke lening of doorlopend krediet. Toch deelt het zijn basis met een bedrijfsfinanciering. De bank verleent een bedrijf tenslotte de mogelijkheid om op krediet verder te gaan, dit uiteraard tegen een rente vergoeding. Zoals elke financiering neemt een rekening courant dus kosten met zich mee. Banken brengen vaste kosten in rekening voor het geven van een rekening courant verhouding. Het rentepercentage gaat op als het saldo van de rekening courant onder de 0 komt.
