Un comentarista deportivo dice que el campo del próximo torneo se le da muy bien a cierto jugador:
"...XXX has played well here over the years, YYY ***pipped*** him about 4 or 5 years ago."
Sospecho que quiere decir que YYY dió una paliza a XXX, pero no conozco la palabra y no quisiera meter la pata.
