French term or phrase: chambres de tirage
This is a text about (dark) fibre optic networks. THese must be the boxes/cabinets/ or whatever along the route, so some kind of physical structure which can be physically protected against intrusion. I just don't know the term used and so wondered if there was an expert out there who did!

Many thanks in advance,

Par ailleurs, les chambres de tirage présentes tout au long du parcours seront sécurisées par un système de fermeture verrouillant leur accès

Explanation:
Or "pull-through" or sometimes just "draw chamber/pit". These are holes in the ground enabling wiring/cabling contractors to drag the cables through the conduits.

cable manhole

Explanation:
That's how I read it...basically providing access to the ducts through which the cable are pulled and connected.
