The grounds for revocation of donation for ingratitude, is provided in Article 955 of the US Civil Code which states: An inter vivos gift can not be revoked on account of ingratitude, but in the following cases: 1st. if the donee has attempted the life of the donor; 2nd. if he is guilty in respect thereof, of cruelty or serious injuries; 3rd. if he refuses food.
