Although your distribution will usually be made in cash, the Company will provide a “Put Option” to you or your beneficiary in the unlikely event that you receive a distribution in the form of Company Stock from the Plan. The Put Option gives you or your Beneficiary the right to require the Company (but not the Plan, which may nevertheless honor the Put Option in the discretion of the Trustee) to buy your Company Stock at the most recently determined fair market value. You will have two opportunities to exercise a Put Option: (i) within 60 days after your distribution; and (ii) during a 60 day period in the following plan year after you are notified by the Committee of the most recently determined fair market value of the Company Stock.
Payment for your Company Stock sold in accordance with a Put Option will be made in either a lump sum payment or in substantially equal annual installments over a period of not more than five years (as determined by the Company).

transakcja terminowa
Na zasadzie analogii z walutowymi transakcjami terminowymi, gdzie cena jest określona z góry. Tak przynajmniej poradziłam sobie z tym jakiś czas temu, choć pewna swego nie jestem:
"strony uzgadniają transakcję terminową (put-option), tzn. na koniec okresu leasingu leasingobiorca umożliwia leasingodawcy zakup przedmiotu umowy, przy czym leasingobiorca jest zobowiązany go wykupić po wcześniej ustalonej cenie;
(...) umowa z klauzulą terminową (call-option): podstawowy okres leasingowy obejmuje 40-90% okresu przydatności przedmiotu, a uzgodniona cena wykupu wynosi co najmniej..."
