Divorce hearing in family court
Rechtsanwalt X stellt den Antrag aus der Scheidungsschrift vom [date]. What is the Scheidungsschrift? it seems to be a document served on the Respondent. Can I just put 'divorce papers', or is there a legal equivalent in the UK? Thanks in advance!

Note from asker:
Thanks. Yes, I would agree, although there is already an 'Antrag' in the sentence. The case is in Germany. |

Comment: "Thanks for the discussion. I was tempted to use 'writ of divorce', but in the end I went with 'divorce papers', as this seemed to me to cover a lot of possibilities and as I couldn't find any examples on the internet or in my dictionaries which confirmed that Scheidungsschrift really means 'writ of divorce'."

post-separation notice of divorce
In E&W > petition for divorce vs. Scotland + the US > action for divorce is something else.
The Schrift need to state the period of separation and the respondent needs to assent/consent.
