Spanish term

ponen a disposicion la venta del 45% sociedad

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) investment brochure
Hi everyone! This is an investment brochure for a luxury property (XXX). I'm sure it's a basic concept but I need to make sure I've got the English completely correct and natural. Translation to UK English. Thanks for your help!

"Los socios fundadores ponen a disposición la venta del 45% sociedad perteneciente a la Patrimonial propietaria del XXX. Esta opción comprende la adquisición de acciones de dicha sociedad, obteniendo así una posición como socio..."

are offering to sell 45 percent of the company

Or "hereby offer for sale" if it's a formal prospectus.

There's obviously a couple of words missing, presumably "de la".

I think there may be something else wrong with the Spanish. The overall meaning is probably "is offering to sell 45 percent of the equity in the company that owns XXX."

are putting 45% of the company up for sale

In lay terms at least!

neutral philgoddard : I think this is too colloquial for a formal document.

OK, is "on the market" better?

Sorry! My mistake. Obviously "Offer to sell 45% of the company"
Example sentence:

The founding partners offer to sale 45% of the company's (shares)

Peer comment(s):

neutral philgoddard : Sale is the noun, sell is the verb.
