I am translating an insurance policy:
The following are excluded in the definition of Stroke:
• Transient Ischemic Attacks;
• Brain damage due to infection, ***vacuities,*** and inflammatory disease;
• Vascular disease affecting the eye or optic nerve; and
• Ischemic disorders of the vestibular system.
I know nothing about medicine, and Google is not helping.

El término vacuidad se define como "falta de contenido". Enfermadades como la vasculitis inflaman los vasos sanguíneos, lo que produce un aumento de la cantidad de sangre que se traslada en los vasos. Esto puede llegar a ocasionar una "burbuja de aire" por el aumento de espacio en los vasos y la cantidad (quizás no suficiente) de sangre en ellos. Esta "burbuja de aire" eventualmente llega al cerebro y pude ocasionarle un daño.
Te recomiendo usar el término "vacuidades sanguíneas" o parafrasearlo.

Siento llegar tarde pero vacuities realmente no parece tener sentido aquí (y sin duda vacuidades sanguíneas suena completamente ajeno).
Mira por ejemplo;

Vasculitis, como ya sugerido por lorena, es sin lugar a dudas la opción más razonable en este contexto.

So to me it seems to be another way of saying vasculitis
