English term

bloodedness

English to Spanish Science Medical: Pharmaceuticals Suplementos alimenticios para deportistas
Intento encontrar una traducción adecuada para este término, que no existe solo sino que suele ir acompañado de hot- o cold-. Dejo el contexto para clarificar:

"It is believed that the main reason for complaints resulting from creatine consumption, namely, stomach cramps, edema,
bloodedness and dehydration, is caused by the body's defence to this toxic compound."

Muchas gracias por la ayuda!!

sangre/tipo de sangre

Hola Diana:

bloodedness (uncountable)

(in combination) The quality of having blood of a particular kind.
warm-bloodedness; full-bloodedness

-----
As yet no means are known which call so much into action as a great war, that rough energy born of the camp, that deep impersonality born of hatred, that conscience born of murder and cold-bloodedness, that fervour born of effort in the annihilation of the enemy, that proud indifference to loss, to one's own existence, to that of one's fellows, to that earthquake-like soul-shaking which a people needs when it is losing its vitality."

¡Suerte y feliz finde!
Note from asker:
Muchas gracias Sandra, en este caso el contexto no admite "sangre" o "tipo de sangre" con un síntoma.

hinchado [bloatedness]

It could be an error for "bloatedness", as bloating is commonly listed as a side effect of creatine consumption.

I think with a bit more patience you might have got more opinions and options, 3 hours is very soon to close a question.

Anyway, my proposal is "hinchazón" (thanks to Eugenia's improvement on "hinchado") because I think "bloodedness" might be a typo or OCR error for "bloatedness".

I'll make a note to avoid wasting my time... your comments perplex me.
Note from asker:
Thank you very much for your help Neil, but I do need a translation (if it exists).
Peer comment(s):

agree Eugenia Martin : Me parece probable. (Mejor “hinchazón”).

Tienes razón, gracias
agree Chema Nieto Castañón : Distensión (distensión abdominal/gástrica) sería la expresión "técnica" para referir bloatedness. Hinchazón (abdominal/gástrica) funciona no obstante a nivel coloquial. ¡Saludos!
