Stamp duty paid on report

What is the "état" being referred to? Could it be an official report or survey?

Stamp duty paid on the original [statement] (already in ProZ glossary)

My answer last time.

Another ProZ answer also accepted: 'stamp duty paid on receipt of statement'. Had you looked and discounted both permutations?

In the UK colloquially called P/D - paid duty at Stamping Office on leases/ assents (conveyances of probate land) etc.

stamp duty paid against a statement

does not mean that the stamp duty is paid "to the State" (although it is, of course!). It is a simplified way to pay certain duties, where the payment is accompanied by a statement,
without the necessity of physically buying a fiscal stamp as proof of
payment.

Notaries are permitted to pay the tax authority the stamp duty, registration fees, etc. chargeable for the instruments they draw up in a given month by the 20th of the following month, by which time they are required to submit a statement listing all such dues, and have transferred payment.
