A brushed metal frame running around the edge, which separates front from back. The rear is removable and made of plastic; not as premium-feeling as the HTC One M8, but a step up from its predecessor and assorted plastic rivals. The phone’s buttons are located on the back next to the camera. {We weren’t sure about this when it was introduced on the G2, but it’s actually and makes sense.} The new textured buttons don’t stick out so much either.
