"title" might be literally paraphrased here as the name of the program such as "Windows", I suspect.

aw in a couple of English speaking jurisdictions and I practice intellectual property law.
While PROPRIETARY RIGHT could indeed mean intellectual property rights but not necessarily that way. If you guys want I can list some bilingual legal sites but I can't be sure if that would help as it is shown here that some people simply search for any existing translation without any understanding of the issues involved, again you may be right sometimes, but bond to wrong too.
Title in relation to land is often translated as 产权, while in connection with chattels/personal properties, title is I suppose better called 所有权. They are the same thing in many more than one way. Epistemologically speaking 产权 and所有权 are the same concept derived from human desire to owe things by excluding others and consume exclusively for oneself and such others as one would allow to enjoy.
Come on. English is easy if you could think, try to forget lots of the formalities in your life and think for once. Or am I asking too much in a room full of translators like us? lol

http://www.legislation.gov.hk/eng/glossary/homeglos.htm is a good site. It contains the glossary of HK legislations (which have for a while been done in English and Chinese). It is a good site but does not guarantee accuracy. check out the original place and context one translation is given is important. In this present site you could try to read the actually law to ascertain what it means. www.hklii.org is a good site to read all HK legislations
