A Combination Order is a sentence that combines a Probation Order and a Community Service Order. The period of Probation supervision can last from 1to 3 years. The Community Service part of the Order can range from forty (40) to one hundred (100) hours and must be completed as instructed.

Curfew Order - this is where you can be told to stay in a particular place (usually at home) for between 2 and 12 hours a day. An order can last up to 3 months (for under 16s) or up to 6 months (for 16 - 18 year olds). Tagging may be used to keep a check on your movements (see electronic monitoring). You have to agree to be given a curfew order by the court. You must not break the order, or you will have to go back to court to be sentenced again.<back to top>
