This description appears in brackets after 'EPS', which I had thought stood for Electronic Power Steering... but now I am not so sure. I don't think it's a mistake... but could anybody explain to me what could be meant by this and what the English translation would be? Thanks

active (dynamic) safety (security) control
This is what I believe it means. And active safety control feature on the steering wheel might mean that, for example, if the hands of the driver are no longer touching it, that an alarm goes off, just in cse the driver has fallen asleep or something. Of course, there could be other safety concerns as well.

dynamic safety features
Electronic Power Steering, ABS etc. are all aspects of dynamic safety.
"Dynamic safety is a major concept at Volvo. It
means that the car must react in a controlled and
predictable manner even in emergency situations.
A well fried and tested steering system is
an important part of dynamic safety."
