Ist es dasselbe wie "maire" nur etwas aufgeblasener, oder gibt es wesentliche (!) Unterschiede ?

Explanation:
Während in Deutschland ein Bundestagsmandat mit einem parallelen Bürgermeisteramt unvereinbar ist, sind solche Konstellationen in Frankreich nicht unüblich. Ein député-maire ist gleichzeitig Abgeordneter der Assemblée Nationale und Bürgermeister auf lokaler Ebene.
