German term

Durchschweißzeiten

Homework / test German to English Tech/Engineering Energy / Power Generation SF6-Switching Station / pumped storage power station
Context:
This term has to do with an explanation of the protection against explosion in a power plant, such as controllable pressures, endurances and "Durchschweißzeiten".
In this case, I do not believe that reference is being made to e.g. root penetration, as in welding
Since gas is used, my gut feeling says "sweat-through times" although I have no reference to this in either Ernst or Siemens dictionary.

Thanks for any assistance or confirmation

It probably refers to safety issues rather than welding (context inadequate). So it could be the time taken for a fire door to fuse, for example.

This is what it looks like to me; the time it would take to burn through e.g. a fireproof door in case of emergency. I know you've given explosion protection as context, but maybe after an explosion comes a fire, and people trapped have to be rescued by cutting into wherever they are....Maybe it fits?
