How to convert TM of Trados Studio 2009 into Trados 7

Is there any procedure how to convert TM created by Trados Studio 2009 into Trados 7? Or is there any possibility to save TM in Trados Studio 2009 into txt file?

Hi Marek,

You can right click on the TM in the TM maintenance View in Studio and export this to TMX. Then import the TMX to your 2007 TM.

You can use the SDL Translation Memory Management Utility in the OpenExchange. This is quite good because the export is specifically tailored for Trados 2007 whereas the TMX export from Studio is based on Studio language codes etc. Y... See more

Then there is another app on the OpenExchange called SDLTmExport and this can also convert to TMX:

So all three methods require you to create your 2007 TM in Trados 2007 and then import the TMX into it.

SDL Translation Memory Management Utility installation exe. demands Studio 2011. Apr 17, 2012

Despite the description of the SDL Translation Memory Management Utility as well as the manual says it is for Studio 2009 or 2011, the installation exe. requires 2011. In fact, the download screen it is shown as "SDL Translation Memory Management Utility Version SDL Studio 2011 (2.0.115.0)".
Where can I get the one for 2009?
