English term

Corporate

Recently, a member of Mr. X’s leadership team had a positive experience with the CBS ([company name] Business services) Human Resources Services Call Center. The staff member had a situation that involved both CBS and Line HR.
Instead of telling the staffer to call **Corporate**, our representative initiated a three-way call and stayed on the line until the hand-off was made smoothly. Not only was the customer’s issue resolved, she actually felt like someone cared!

what service are we talking about here???? Le siège social? La direction?

Merci encore!

la direction

"Corporate" is indeed the company officers and top management. It is not the lower administration of the various corporate services. La direction: the CEO,COO,CFO,etc = the PDG, etc. It can be the "siège social" but not necessarily, and often is not.
So the meaning is "la direction" in the sense of the operating top officers.

"le siège central"

Where all "overhead" activities such as HR, Accounting, etc. are centralized - not necessarily the same as "siège social"
