Tengo 2 diplomas de la misma persona, de la Universidad Católica de Santa María. Primero recibe el título de

"Bachiller en Administración de Empresas"

Y luego unos meses más tarde, el título de

"Licenciado en Administración de Empresas"


Los dos son de nivel Universitario, y quisiera saber cómo puedo hacer la diferencia entre ambos títulos, ya que yo creía que el título era "Bachelor of Science in Business Administration", pero tengo Bachiller y Licenciado.

Es cierto. En el Perú, el bachiller es el título, y después de aprobar el examen nacional, que sea de derecho u otra disciplina, aparte del bachiller, ya el estudiante también es licenciado, o sea, tiene su licenciatura o "professional licensing."

neutral  Ronnie McKee: I think that a licenciatura (at least in Spain) is also a type of degree. You can get a licenciatura de letras for example. In Spain a bachiller is a pre-university degree and licenciado is a university degree (and probably also the license to practice.

  -> In Spain, yes, but Peru is different. Only Peru and Puerto Rico have "bachiller" as the undergraduate degree. Then the licenciatura or licenciado is a professional competency exam. "bachiller" is high school or pre-university in all other countries.
