that cause interference

Electric cables carry an electromagnetic field that can cause interference (some more than others). The implication here is that you can lead sensitive cables and cables that cause interference through the same conduit as long as they don't lie parallel for more than 1 metre (otherwise the signal along the sensitive cables would pick up interference from the others).
